We offer extensive veterinary services for all ages, breeds, and disciplines. Our goal is to provide our clients with caring, professional service with a variety of diagnostic and treatment options. We are located in Cumberland Maine and provide ambulatory services to clients throughout central and southern Maine, western Maine and southern New Hampshire. At our hospital location, clients truck horses in from many areas to take advantage of our in clinic diagnostic and treatment services. NEWS: In 2009 there were 17 confirmed cases of Eastern Equine Encephalomyelitis (EEE) in horses and 1 confirmed case of EEE in a llama. NONE of the 18 animals survived the disease. In 2009 there were also 2 confirmed cases of Potomac Horse Fever (PHF) in the State of Maine. Due to new research on these diseases it is HIGHLY recommended that horses receive a booster every 6 months for these 2 diseases (EEE and PHF), as well as Western Equine Encephalomyelitis (WEE), Tetanus, West Nile Virus (WNV) and Influenza (Flu/Rhino).
