Ambulatory

Blackstrap Hill provides full service care for your horses at your barn or boarding facility. Our comprehensive ambulatory services include primary care, preventative medicine, vaccinations, new foal wellness exams, lameness examinations, reproductive services, and dental procedures. We also perform regular re-examinations of horses after discharge from our hospital or other facilities. Diagnostically we have the ability to perform radiographic (X-ray), and ultrasonography examinations in the field when necessary.

Blackstrap Hill Veterinary Clinic belongs to the Emergency Equine Associates of Maine. This is a group of equine veterinarians (including our Doctors) that provide coverage for emergencies evenings and weekends for our clients.
